A lot of the time, people come in to view the window or complete the trail leaflets. Everyone came in to see the boy in the rubber ring. That was a good one. It does bring people in, and then many come back. It helps to bring people in and returning customers - especially people from out of town who are doing the trail with their children.

The events - like the Festival of Making and Pride - bring in a lot of new customers. The sand trail did well for us too. A lot of people stopped to take photos and then come in for a coffee. We have had quite a few people come back after too.

The activities create something special for the town. They give families something to do together and we've seen lots of new faces coming to do together and we've seen lots of new faces coming in to the shop as a result. The BID should be proud of itself.

“We’ve had lots of interest from families with trail leaflets who have been coming in, and buying things when they come in. They’re going around the trail and they’ve told us about the models at the other locations. They’re really impressed with the sculpture. The kids are loving it! It’s really good for us. Customers come back again to see what else we’ve got.”

We had a really good event and lots of footfall. I feel the events will create us some new regular visitors, as a few did stay to play. We also had some who said they didn't know what we did but will be back, which is amazing! All in all the event was brilliant and we will definitely be more happy to take part in this kind of event again.
