The union for train drivers ASLEF is taking strike action next Friday 1 March.

As a result, Northern Rail will not be operating any services on 1 March across their entire network.

They advise they are sorry for the disruption and are advising customers to make alternative arrangements for travel on this date.

An overtime ban on Thursday 29 February and Saturday 2 March will also impact some early morning and late night services, travellers should expect disruption on these dates.
