Here are some updates on recent town centre police activity thanks to PC1015 Aric Halleron-Place and PC 8176 Mark Slater:

• Patrick Harris has been sentenced to 8 weeks in prison for 3 town centre thefts.
• Carl Poynton has been sentenced to 12 weeks in Prison for Burglary.
• Ben Wareing has been sentenced to 10 weeks in prison for 5 town centre shopliftings. He was also issued with a Fine, Tag and a Criminal Behaviour Order preventing him from entering any Town centre shops (TC in general unless for an appointment) for a year.
• Liam O’Reilly has been sentenced to 2 weeks in prison for theft x 4 at TK Maxx
• A number of Fixed Penalty Notices issued for street drinking in the town centre
• Lots of targeted work carried out around shops during key times for thefts.
