Blackburn Musical Theatre Company seeking Business Support

Blackburn Musical Theatre Company is in rehearsals for its 2024 production of SUNSHINE ON LEITH, to be staged at the Empire Theatre, Ewood, from May 6 to 11, and is seeking corporate partnerships, grants or sponsorship, which can be tailored to individual business’s budgets and requirements.

The opportunities include:

  • Corporate sponsors/partners – to support production costs for specific items, including staging and set, orchestra, lighting, sound, stage management, and more. Packages created to suit budget.
  • Performance hospitality package – for £160 they offer six of the best seats in the house, free programmes and interval drinks and refreshments, a perfect chance to entertain clients or reward employees. If more than six tickets are required (up to a max of 30), they can tailor packages to your requirements/budget.
  • Programme advertising – adverts available from £30-£150, in their full colour A4 programme.
  • Special booking discount for all Blackburn BID members, saving £1.50 on all tickets booked direct with BMTC.

BMTC is a Charity Commission-registered, volunteer-run, not-for-profit community theatre society, who performed at the Christmas Lights Switch On event, and which dates back to 1912. They aim to provide a low-cost social activity for our members, who primarily live within the Blackburn with Darwen area, and to entertain local residents with high-quality musical theatre productions.  They are hoping members of Blackburn BID might be able to support their endeavours as a registered charity within their community.

If anyone would like more information, they can call Anna Cryer, on 07971 193616 or email BMTC at bmtcmusicals@outlook.com
